International Transport Auto S.A. (ITA) is a company with wholly private capital, being the oldest company of it’s kind, established in 1975.

The year 1995, the year of privatization by the MEBO method, was a success for our company which also meant the start of a process of transformation and modernization of the automotive sector. The market imposed this, even if the change involved high costs. In the first phase, the old trucks which were fuel-intensive and were not competitive anymore on the transport market, were exchanged with modern, new trucks: Mercedes Benz, Volvo, DAF, which were in compliance with the de European emission standards, as well as Schmitz semi-trailers with high volume of transport.

Quality standards are our business card and we constantly work to improve and maintain them. Thus, we considered it necessary to expand and diversify the activity, looking for new development solutions to meet the demands of our clients.

The own gas station was upgraded and teamed up with Rompetrol, who is now our partner. The periodic technical inspection line (ITP) was established and subsequently modernized for the entire range of vehicles, as well as a line of tachograph and L.V. for trucks. Both stations are authorized by the Romanian Auto Registry.

We also provide for our customers parking services, car wash, warehouses, etc.
